Obama Never used Twitter

In a visit to China, U.S. President Barack Obama make a personal confession about Twitter, Microblogging services being popular. He said that so far never used Twitter account @BarackObama even helped his election succeed. "I have never used Twitter, but I suggest to use the technology and does not restrict Internet access," Obama said in front of about 500 students in Shanghai, last weekend.

He gave the statement to start the answer to a question about Twitter and application access "Great Firewall", a special program made by the Government of China to block information is prohibited on the Internet.

More than 2.6 million people who became follower account may think the information posted directly from Obama. In fact, it was all from the McCain campaign to boost the popularity of Obama. Once Obama was elected, the current account has been taken over the Democratic National Committee.

"My thumb is too slow to type everything on the phone," Obama said explaining the reason for not using Twitter. Nevertheless, he believes strongly in the power of the Internet and claimed success won the presidential election because it can mobilize voters by using the Internet.

Knowing Obama did not use Twitter, many of the follower who may feel disappointed. "I Have Never Used" could be penetrated keyword trending topics in reaction to Obama's statement.
