13 high School Students Shot Dead when Partying

A number of suspected drug smugglers bouncer went suddenly into a party and killed 13 high school students in Ciudad Juarez, Sunday, the last big murder in one of the deadliest cities in the world, it was said Mexican military. Armed men jumped out of the vehicle and opened fire on the students, who were celebrating victory in the local soccer championships America, in a house in town across the border from El Paso, Texas, on Sunday morning it was.

Stagnant blood in the street outside the house. "Some of the men was driving the SUV, they were armed to the teeth. They went to the house and shoot everyone, you can hear gunfire," said someone who was close to the house. Military spokesman Enrique Torres explained the victims aged between 15 and 20 years, and an additional 17 participants of the party injured in the shooting, some critically.

"They were about 15 men, they closed the roads around it and began shooting at the house when they moved into," explained Torres. Not clear why the armed men had attacked the students. But builders at drug gang had attacked the young men who were partying in the city. Ciudad Juarez is the bloodiest city in the drug war in Mexico as the cartels are competing for markets and control smuggling routes into the United States.

Widespread violence even when police and federal troops patrolling the streets. Around 2650 people have been killed in drug violence in Ciudad Juarez last year and cartel killings soared since the beginning of 2010.  In some of the worst attacks, a number of armed men had attacked at least seven drug rehabilitation clinic in the factory town in the last two years, the target of rival traders. Two attacks in September killed 28 people.

Mexico is an important transit route for South American cocaine and objectives leading producer of marijuana and heroin. Military crackdown on cartels competing in Mexico has increased the wave of drug violence that has killed more than 17,000 people in the last three years.
