Over 300 Members of Mexican Drug Cartel Arrested

Over 300 people were arrested in the operation that was held two days police arrested the drug cartel to Mexico La Familia by U.S. joint forces. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said the agents were deployed in 3,000 operating in 14 states. Police operation was part of the Coronado Project, which had arrested as many as 1,200 members of La Familia in the last four years.

"The operation was a blow to the network in the La Familia drug trafficking, weapons and money flow between Mexico and the U.S.," said Holder.In that operation police seized the U.S. and the FBI 3.4 million in cash U.S. dollars, over 144 weapons and 100 cars, as well as a number of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
